Black Friday

Wow, I upoaded a lot of paintings today to Boundless

       
I forget what else!

Then I painted this painting called “When Will Meets Way”
  You can see it’s still wet enough to run if I tilted it.  I was so exhausted when it decided to be finished.  I’d forgotten to eat lunch and it was about 3pm.  I thought it was a complete failure, and would be good for nothing but repainting.  After resting and eating, I was delighted to discover this amazing, dramatic piece of art on my table.  All finished except for painting the sides.

It was a good day.

Thanksgiving

I give thanks for the amazing abundance that is so miraculously provided every day.  Today we’re staying home and having a relatively small turkey dinner.  It’s so warm, you can sit out on the porch. I get to paint and post my paintings online.  We have a little fire in the fireplace, it’s very cozy.

Blog Day #1

Ok, here we are with a new blog, my first!  So what do we write about?  and why do I feel compelled to refer to myself in the plural?  It’s the royal “we” of course, hahaha.  OK, I can see I’ve found a new way to spend endless hours at the computer amusing myself.

Many thanks to Jennie Rosenbaum , my friend in Boundless Gallery, for recommending wordpress for a blog site.  I think it’s going to be fun.

Today I’m shipping two paintings that sold on auction at Overstock.com.  time to get to work!  Shipping art has been my biggest challenge in this online art-selling adventure upon which I’ve embarked.  Paper wrapping, bubble wrap, boxes, tape.  Each material has given me a lesson at one time or another.  I am optomistic that all the big lessons are behind me, and it will be smooth sailing from now on.

 Here’s the one i shipped yesterday, it’s going to Los Angeles “Joyful Connection”  One of my favorites this year.
